Arizona Season 2015-2016 begins November 14.

The Montezuma Marksmen IDPA Club # 633280 Arizona 2015-2016 Season will begin on Saturday, November 14 at the new 9204W Range located between Cornville, Sedona and Rimrock.

Match #1 will begin promptly at 10:30 AM.  Registered participants are advised to be on the Range by 10 AM.  The Safety Orientation will begin at 10:15 AM.

There will be two Squads with a maximum of 8 shooters per Squad.  The Match will include three scenario stages and one standards stage.  Round count will be 60-70.

This Match is open to current IDPA members.  If you are not an IDPA member, you may shoot one IDPA Match.  Afterwards, you must be a current member to register for a Match.  Anyone wishing to shoot this Match who is not an IDPA member must be pre-approved by the Match Director John Parsons prior to being allowed to participate.

Montezuma Marksmen became an IDPA Club on St. Patrick's Day 2015.  All Montezuma Marksmen Matches will now follow all IDPA rules as written in the official rule book located here:


Here is the registration link for the November 14th Match.  You MUST be pre-registered to be able to participate in the match.  No late or on-site registrations will be accepted.  Additional Match notes and Stage Designs will be emailed to participants prior to the Match.


There is a suggested, free will $10 donation to participate in the Match.  We need to buy fresh IDPA targets and various Match supplies.  We expect to reduce the Match suggested donation to $5 after our supplies are replenished.  Note that we cannot and will not require a $10 entry fee for the Match.
Since we are conducting our Match on Forest Service public land, we must adhere strictly to the spirit and intent of a non-commercial, cost-sharing event among like-minded individuals who have chosen to get together with one another to enjoy their sport, hobby and exercise of their 2nd Amendment Rights.

Finally, some notes about weather:  The Match will be cancelled if it is raining or snowing or if damage will occur to the road from Match usage.  The final call as to whether this or any Match will be cancelled will be made no later than 5 PM on Friday, the day before any given Match.  A notice will be posted on this blog and also emailed to all registered participants.
